Meet The Team

Sara

I’m Sara, an experienced and compassionate teacher with over 20 years’ teaching experience in school, supporting children and young people to learn, grow and feel confident in their abilities. I studied a Master’s degree in Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties to help me understand the barriers some children face in school learning environments and after 18 years in the classroom, I chose to step away from this so that I could focus more closely on supporting children who need something different to help them thrive. I understand the complexities of neurodiversity and recognise that every child’s needs, strengths and learning style are unique. I aim to provide a calm, supportive and nurturing learning experience where children feel safe, understood and able to make progress whilst being themselves.

Rachel

Hi, I’m Rachel and I have been lucky enough to work with children with Autism and communication and interaction differences for over twenty years. I have worked with a range of age groups within special schools and also supported children in mainstream settings to access the curriculum in the right way for them. I am passionate about finding ways to remove the barriers to learning that so many of our children ace and to make learning interactive, fun and motivating.
